Albéa produces the innovative and eco-designed sun care packaging of La Roche-Posay. As a result of an ambitious co-development between L'Oréal and Albéa, the tube packaging, integrating cardboard, is designed as an alternative to the various packaging solutions currently used for cosmetic products. The use of plastic is reduced by 45% compared to existing solutions.

L’OCCITANE en Provence

Groundbreaking tubes and caps for “almond” range

LyondellBasell, Albéa Tubes and L’OCCITANE en Provence have recently launched groundbreaking cosmetic tubes and caps for L’OCCITANE en Provence’s “almond” range, supporting the circular economy. The packaging is made by Albéa Tubes with CirculenRevive polymers from LyondellBasell.

Albéa, leading beauty packaging manufacturer, Origins, global skincare brand, The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC), global leader in prestige beauty, and SABIC, global leader in the chemical industry, announced their strategic partnership to bring an advanced recycled tube package to market in 2021.

Berry and Verfora

Cap adapted to joint pain

For people suffering from arthroses or arthritis, opening a tube of pain relief ointment must be easy, comfortable and above all painless. In this context, Albéa, cap supplier Berry and Verfora have pooled their expertise and developed a cap perfectly adapted to joint pain for Verfora’s PERSKINDOL® DOLO GEL 100ml tube. The tubes are manufactured at the German plant in Schesslitz.

Responsibility @ Albéa Tubes

We will make all our cosmetic and oral care tubes recyclable by 2025, to do so, we will maximize our use of PCR (mechanical and chemical), reduce plastic use through weight reduction and combination with paper, optimize materials, designs and decoration.

We anticipate regulations and work with partners to establish a CSR roadmap and ensure that our cosmetic tubes are certified as recycling-ready. Because everything we do contributes to our stakeholders’ sustainability commitments and goals.
